The Voice from Outerseas

Directed by Bernard Skira

Written by Bernard Skira

Produced by Philippe Braunstein

Fiction / Aventure intérieure / 10 min.

Storyline

In the universe of boat sailing competition, Michel is what could be called a man of the rear : safely ashore, with the help of daily wheather reports, he guides skippers through winds and currents all the way to the cup. Yet no one has prepared him for his particulary young and adventurous new female-partner, Aveline, to whom he feels attracted as soon as the race begins. As romance timidly settles between them, his longing for the sea and the real thing grows stronger.
